Heron is a passive, SDK-free observability tool for LLM & agent traffic. It reconstructs agent turns and service topology from post-TLS HTTP on the wire — nothing sits in the request path, so the observer can fail without breaking the calls being observed. Decodes OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini, folds multi-leg proxy hops, auto-classifies vLLM/SGLang/Ollama backends. Single static binary with an embedded console, Apache-2.0.
